My Story
Debsmar paintings and cards were inspired by God's word to encourage all who read them to continue in the Lord. In 1 Samuel 30:6, " David encouraged himself in the LORD his God " 1Sam 30:6. Sometimes we have to encourage ourselves when no one else is there.
Deborah Sylvest Martin is a wife, mother, grandmother, and anointed woman of God. She has a multitude of talents that include painting, creating, innovating, real estate, and insurance. What gives her the most pleasure is painting pictures divinely inspired by God.
Born in New Orleans, Deborah graduated from Joseph S. Clark Senior High and the University of New Orleans where she majored in Art. Her husband , Dr. Frank Martin, and she are co-founders of Ordered Steps Worship Center in Gretna, LA where they reside. She has 3 children (Ngai, Malik, & Ashley) and a host of grandchildren.
